[vdr] Re: Nova-CI, dxr3 and vdr
Hi,
My report:
-I dowloaded vdr 1.24, the new dvb driver and compiled it.
-Corrected channel 120 (VERONICA) of channels.conf to work with ca.conf
value 13001 (the Dutch Canal Digitaal) it's not a FTA channel anymore
(you pay about 15 euro/year for administration only, has something to do
with copyrights they buy for NL only).-Started ./vdr -Pdxr3
-Go to CiCAM and set cam 1 of device 1 (nova-ci) to 13001 .
-Restarted vdr
-Switched to channel 120.
-> A black screen :-<
messages.log says:
Feb 16 13:02:50 localhost vdr[1204]: switching to channel 120
Feb 16 13:03:15 localhost vdr[1216]: ERROR: no useful data seen within
10512960 byte of video stream
When starting the dvb driver I got the following error:
Feb 16 13:01:05 localhost kernel: DVB: registering new adapter
(TT-Budget/WinTV-NOVA-CI PCI).
Feb 16 13:01:06 localhost kernel: stv0299.c: setup for tuner BSRU6,
TDQB-S00x
Feb 16 13:01:06 localhost kernel: DVB: registering frontend 0:0
(STV0299/TSA5059/SL1935 based)...
Feb 16 13:01:06 localhost kernel: outcom error
Feb 16 13:01:06 localhost last message repeated 2 times
Has anybody any suggestions or did I do something wrong?
Thanx in advance,
Marcel Rokers

I wil try it on sunday (with vdr 1.22 it didn't work):
-> download and compile the new versions of vdr and dvb
-> start vdr
-> turn the current channel to one that's encrypted and working under
win
anything else I've to do?
Has anybody else tried it yet?
Thanx,
Marcel
