Erhm, not sure there. It could quite well be that your amp is
running on the *edge* with PCM. Running the extra AC3 packets
could just push it over the edge. While I don't really like the
resistor voltage divider idea on coax, it will only take you about
5 minutes (including the heating time of the soldering iron)
to try it. You have nothing to lose ;o)) As to TOSLINK, its
an easy setup.Reichelt has everything you need (and so does
the dumpster of your next HiFi shop ;o)).
