[vdr] FEATURE REQUEST: EPG Search

Hallo,

it would be nice to have a possibillity in VDR itself to Search the EPG.

1. Search for the next (several if possible) occurence of the
current/selected transmission - search for the same name of the movie on the
same or other channels.
2. Search for a text that one can "write" with remotecontrol as with
Filenames in Timers.

The first would be the one that I would use the most :)

Any questions/suggestions are welcome ?

Sorry for my lack of programming skills - otherwise I would write this
myself.
