The analogtv-plugin does not require esound, OSS or ALSA is even better.
Hmm, i think, i should remove the whole esound support ...

Try the following:

  rm `which esd-config`
  cd ...../vdr-1.1.25/PLUGINS/src/analogtv/rte/mp1e
  ./configure
  make
  cd ...../vdr-1.1.25
  make plugins
