[vdr] Feature Request: other Directory Structure.

Hi,

I don't know if it is already discussed on this list, but I would like to
have the following Feature:

I have two vdr-server. The first is the main-server (recording and
viewing) and the second is mainly for viewing. It has no harddisk, boots
via net and mounts the video-directory from the first vdr-server. The
problem is, that there are not only the video-files in this directory.
There are also the config-files and timers in the directory. So it is not
possible to use different vdrs on one video-directory. I have solved this
via a script which makes symbolic-links to the video-files. It works,
but it is a hack. The best thing IMO would be to take the
config/timer/channles-files in some other directory. So every vdr can have
its own config files and there could be one big video-directory which
is only for the recordings.

What do you think about it?

Olli
