This definitely works!

You need the DXR3-plugin for use with DXR3/Hollywood H+-cards.

And the client/server-streaming-plugin if you want to make your DXR3-box
a complete VDR-machine (or NFS-share for playback only).

Client/server-streaming also provides all channels by http - works fine
with MPlayer (0.0.2 has problems with buffering when several clients
access the same channel).

So, take a server, put in a lot of DVB-cards and use DXR3/VDR or
Mediaplayer on the clients.

P.S.: S-Video/Composite of DXR3 works fine, but overlay is a mess
(decreasing signal-quality of GFX al lot and problems setting overlay
mode).
