hi,
I have a problem with the libmp3 too. I use VDR version 1.1.31 and the 
mp3 plugin in the version 7.13.
I try to compile the plugin with 'make plugins' but the compiler every 
time reports an error:

make[1]: Entering directory 
`/usr/local/src/vdr-1.1.31/PLUGINS/src/mp3-0.7.13'
g++ -O2 -Wall -Woverloaded-virtual -c -D_GNU_SOURCE -DHAVE_BEAUTYPATCH 
-I../../../include -I../../../../DVB/include player-mp3.c
player-mp3.c:32: id3tag.h: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [player-mp3.o] Error 1

I think that's the reason why the libmp3 doesn't exists in my PLUGINS 
dir. But why isn't the id3tag.h file in the tarball ?
