[vdr] vdr-1.1.3x seems to suffer from a deadlock problem

Hi folks,

since upgrading from vdr-1.1.26 to 1.1.31 and then to 1.1.33 I get frequent
hangups. I couldn't isolate the problem yet and I don't know how to
reproduce it reliably.

At least 3 times, I noticed the following:

I've started playing back a recording and after one or two seconds, the
playback stopped with a still image. No input, neither on keyboard, nor on
infrared (LIRC) yielded to any reaction. Pressing CTRL-C didn't do anything.
I haven't tried a kill -TERM, yet. After sending a kill -9 and restarting
vdr, everything worked as expected.

Once, I've seen this behaviour just after pressing the pause key to enter
the timeshift mode (If I remember correctly, it's been after restarting the
paused playback).

Some 2 or 3 times vdr has been frozen that way while no user input had been
going on at all (after returning home from work).

In none of these cases there has been any interesting output in the log
file.

I've never seen that problem with version 1.1.26. I jumped to version 1.1.30
and then to 1.1.33. Both versions showed the problem.

I'm using a fast system (Athlon XP 1800) with two WinTV Nova and two DXR3
cards. The vdr versions are plain vanilla, but I use (for obvious reasons)
the DXR3 plugin (0.1.9). I _think_ that I've seen the problem with no other
plugin running. I'm sure that it has happened while the streamdev plugin
(0.0.3beta) was installed and running in server mode. I'm using the DVB
driver that is recommended for vdr-1.1.33.

Ciao,

Tobias
