but i think you have to disable the writeprotection of the flash
and this is only possible with a "hot iron" ;-)

maybe it is "easier" to write an wrapperlibrary with linux-dvb 
(convergence) to the dvb-api on the dbox .. 

it`s a pity that this two groups are not more aware of each other :-(
