think for your self, if card 2 is chained behind card 1 and you
are watching a h-channel on card 1, card 2 wants to start a
recording on a v-channel and sends a signal to switch the lnb
to v polarisation ...

for a propper working you need a second output of a quad lnb 
or a multiswitch
