Em, I'm afraid not.. from the discussions I've seen, it appears to be 'a 
bit tricky' to get right...

Mind, if you're saying that you don't need to view the desktop, then it 
suggests that you're simply using a spare monitor as a TV output screen, 
perhaps in that case no setup would be needed - it'd just output at full 
screen already. This is wild hypothesis, mind :) 

Give the overlay tools that come with the em8300 drivers a go, and
there's always the dxr3-devel mailing list at sourceforge - the people
and developers there are friendly and helpful :)
