You both are using GMX, maybe that induces that problem.
For example GMX's mailserver could have been part-down for some hours and told 
the mailing-lists mailserver that he couldn't deliver any mail, but you still 
got it. The mailing-list mailserver will then try it again, a few hours 
later. We'd need the logs to find out if something like that happened.
