I guess it must be something with wine - you know Windows 98 also couldn't 
handle files larger 2GB properly (explorer.exe was showing negative size and 
stuff) and at 4GB was definitively the final barrier !
And you know wine tends to be 100% Windows compatible :-))) Just joking !

I don't know why but at 2GB was always an error message when using 
PVAstrumento with wine !
