NO!! connect the scart rgb signal to your tv!
first, still no 100% foolprog scart breakoutbox has been publiched/is
buyable somewhere, so i consider that a geek solution(i have not tried it, paying 200-250€ if i make a little mistake is far too much).
so its a no-solution for most of us and all of the simle users.

You have to build a scart adapter, and my graphic card come already
with one... so YES ;-)
luck, no double luck, matrox even passes the pal test "c't" did
on several gfx tv-out, only few (mostly older) card do actually
output "pal" as defined in the standards, so most GFX don't even have a PAL/TV output, it's only close to beeing able to display something on tv.

There are not so many video cards with a RGB output, unless you have a
DVI output and a special cable.
which make up for an amount (expensive GFX,DVI cable) which allready
allows you to buy a cheap PC + DXR3 .....

All usual ways is to send the s-video signal to the scart connector.

Another thing : the video card has usual also a fan and there are a
thats an own goal, i have no fan on my gfx (you will allways get
GFX models mithout fans, companys need them too), whilst a _lot_
of dvb users try to protect their 250€ invest and mount (very loud and unspecialised) fans to cool the DVB, i have 2 one fron an powersupply
and another from a scsi-server drivebay for my dvb cards.

bunch of users who want a silent
solution so if possible no fan at all.
thats leads to an old pc with an dxr3 card, or wait for
vdr on dbox2 ...

but all this are just my 2cents

Regards
Onno
