Things don't appear automaticly. I'm working on one.
It's obvious that such things needs alot of testing.

I was focussing on the RGB, not TV-out.

Same here, I just ment that a RGB signal could be subtracted from a DVI
port.
Other then that, no graphic card has a RGB connection.

I've almost finished my entirely fanless madia box.
It has 1800 airholes, one heatpipe (which i've just destroyed during
bending)
an fanless 80W PSU, DVB-S and DVB-C card where DVB-S is fanless cooled.
A big heatsink on each side, 3mm aluminium plating...yes, it's heavy but
it does the job.

Things like harddisk/CD-DVD get also warm.
Computer cases and thermal managment just don't mix.

The D-box has already a very good OS - DVB2000
Yes, harddisk recording, DVD playback.
negative side, you need SCSI drives.(that's why i'm rather moving to
VDR)
The programmer of the DVB had the same problem, the D-box is not what
you can call
a fast device. DVB2000 is therefore written in 68K assembler and has
several times
spended time to optimize the code to get more room for more features in
the small
space. One advantage of the D-box is : it has a socket for a second ram
chip.
