[vdr] image-plugin, other plugins, vdr

some hints & suggestions i had using the image-plugin other plugins:

image
------

-sometimes the images are correctly encoded but do only flash into existence
and be replaced by black

-sometimes the image replaces the formerly shown image only partially or is
scrambled somewhere, maybe that relates to the higher quality i choosed ???

-sometimes the images are stretched to screen-size although the image size is
not fullscreen, wrong aspect-ratio. So far i found no option to force convert
to create an image always the size 720x576 by placing black lines at
top/bottom or left/right which would resolve that problem, otherwise we need
to force the card to do it right...

-a shuffle option just like mp3 would be great

-a [.] should be shown at the top of the list, so one can display the entire
content of the source-directory and not need to have the containing directory
as a source too.

-maybe it should convert already the next image in slideshow-mode, so that it
can hold always the same time whether the image already exists or not

-the convert-script should check, if the date of the source is newer than the
conversion and not just if it exists, that way changes can be shown without
manual interaction

other plugins:
---------------

-maybe it's possible to display the actions of the keys by displaying some
man-page or just in the lower line of the progress-bar after hitting ok,
maybe displaying usage information should be common to all plugins!

Most plugins do already show most of that information context sensitive.

vdr:
----
In the Main-Menu the green and blue key seem to have no function, AFAIK - one
could jump to the configuration of the selected (plugin) with green or blue
directly. That would avoid such things as the analogtv-plugin does
"show-main-menu-entry-hide-it"
