My guess would be that for some reason the driver has problems
with heavy channel switching, as is done when the EPG scanner kicks in
(which might explain that you observe this the next day).

Please try turning off the EPG scanner (set "Setup/EPG/EPG scan timeout" to 0)
and see if it still happens.
