[vdr] ring buffer overlow - just an idea

Hello

During my recordings of today (latest CVS and vdr 1.2.1) I got
during the sixt file lots of messages like
Jun 22
20:53:49 gorgias vdr[16045]: ERROR: ring buffer overflow (99 bytes dropped)
20:53:49 gorgias vdr[16045]: ERROR: ring buffer overflow (188 bytes dropped)
20:53:49 gorgias last message repeated 231 times
20:53:49 gorgias vdr[16046]: ERROR: skipped 99 byte to sync on TS packet
20:53:49 gorgias vdr[16045]: ERROR: ring buffer overflow (178 bytes dropped)
20:53:49 gorgias vdr[16045]: ERROR: ring buffer overflow (188 bytes dropped)
20:53:51 gorgias last message repeated 365 times
20:53:51 gorgias vdr[16046]: ERROR: skipped 89 byte to sync on TS packet
20:53:51 gorgias vdr[16046]: ERROR: skipped 10 byte to sync on TS packet

Since I have limited my filesize to 200 MB all the errors where only in one
file. Before that 5 files where without failure. After that again no
failure (according to the log - file)

Now the amazing fact:
The failures started shortly after the start of the comercials and seemed to
have ended with the comercials again.

It seems to be a relation: Not that all comercials induce these failures.
But some seem to do so.
Or is it just by misfortune: 800 MB without failurs
200 MB with lots of failures
From then on up to file 20 again nor failure.

Regards
Wolfgang
