I don't know, where exactly the problem is, but with:
        Kernel 2.4.21 (and gcc-3.3)
i have dropouts during the recording.

Now i switched back to 2.4.20 (and gcc-3.2, because 2.4.20 can't
be compiled with gcc-3.3) and everything is ok.
