I assume you are using xine-lib > 0.9.8. There was a change in the API and 
mpeg_pes demuxer hasn't been adopted yet, therefore the mpeg_pes plugin isn't 
compiled.

I'd like to use xine-lib > 0.9.8 for my project too, but then, I'll not be 
able to keep the time line.
