[vdr] Let Plugin disapear in Mainmenu, but ...

My understanding is that if you define the

static const char *MAINMENUENTRY  = NULL;

the plugin disapears form the main menu.

But it is still possible to maintain some 
options of the plugin within the Options-
Plugins-Menu (Of course if the menu provides 
the approriate functions)?

Is this the default behaviour or is that 
something special?
