There are only a "few" keys generating duplicate code
on dm4688-773 (exactly 6)
773 is AUX Audio Tape Players "Aiwa Minisystem"

Tests with "irw" shows:

Key "FastRew"  is identified as "Left"
Key "FastFwd"  is identified as "Right"

Key "Play"     is identified as "Up"
Key "Stop"     is identified as "Down"


The other keys on the lower panel like "Pause", "vtx.." are 
corrently identified as different codes!

Key "Mute"      is identified as "Vol-"
Key "Red right" is identified as "OK" 


For "schedule" "Timers" "Recordings" "Setup"
av-773.conf mentions key codes, but which keys on the RC should that be?
Key "AV"  is correctly identified as "av"
Key "ENT"  is correctly identified as "Commands" 



The "punch thru" feature is ONLY working for
the Keys V+,V- and Mute from "TV" *only* in "VCR"!
In DVD it has no effect.


So my current conclusion:
Vendor code "773" is *no* good code for VDR!
At least on the MD4688, maybe the 4689 does not have that bug?


I can't imagine that no one ran into that problem too?

Maybe someone would be so kind to tell which code he uses?


To read out the code setting of the Medion (Aldi) MD4688 MD4689 RC:

  Press "S" Setup until the LED light contantly (approx. 3s)
  Press shortly the function Key TV....AUX 
  Press again "S" Setup

  Now press 0...9 
  For each matching digit the LED will dim shortly.

  After matching the third number the LED will be turned off 
  with a slightly longer deya.
  So type in the 0..9 slowly for the third digit ;-)
