i did not try them out...but i looked at the webpage. seems that both
programs are for analog uses... maybe you can watch live streams through the
/dev/video devices...but what about switching ..and what about using the mpeg
hardware decooder on the dvbs for replay??

maybe i am wrong...but there is no alternative for vdr (but who needs
one?!?!? :) )
