well you can have statistic, e.g. 1.2 -> 80%, 1.4 -> 60%,
based upon experience.

well in my reccmds, i do a du -hsc <sources>, so i can see
what i have to use ..

but anyway .. choose your weapon ;-)

standalone .. but, of course it cuts, but to stdout > file,
and run by the repack-task .. so no sitting and wait, 
just do all in one list .. ;-)
