some kind of nice to hear that. :) first i thought there was a problem with
my dvd drive or elchi patch or something like that.

so i compiled a plain vdr 1.2.5 and dvd-plugin-p8. everything worked great.
then i copied my PLUGINS/src to the new vdr version dir and when starting
vdr with lcdproc plugin" vdr just exits w/o ANY error message.

just to let you know that it happens here as well (as confirmed by some
other users as well).
