Hello,
i hope this is not too far OT..
is someone out there who uses the onboard SPDIF-out for AC3 sound
of a MSI-Hermes 650(1) with the bitstreamplugin (0.46g) ?
I tried to, but get the following error messages:
(ALT-F10)
vdr[3799]: S/P-DIF: sound open: No such device
vdr[3799]: S/P-DIF: unable to establish BitStreamOut for none audio PCM
vdr[3799]: INSTREAM: can't open spdif interface
(vdr)
ALSA lib setup.c:533: (add_elem) Cannot obtain info for CTL elem
(MIXER,'IEC958 Playback AC97-SPSA',0,0,0): No such file or directory
ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:976: (snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D2p failed:
No such device
Modules (sound-intel8x0) are loaded at startup and analog sound works fine..
This is surely a ALSA/Driver setup problem, but maybe somebody on
this list have a hint for me,
thanks,
Siggi
