Are you sure with ext3?
I think there's a recovery tool for ext2, and ext3 is ext2 + journalling, 
meaning you can mount ext3 partitions as ext2 and work without journalling.
So why should that recovery tool not be able to undelete files on ext3 when 
they say they can do it on ext2?

Just my 2 Euro cents...
