so .. since your S/P-DIF "loop through" is "just" for sync
and no pcm audio is avaiable due to the not set "none audio"
bit if the AV711x.. i guess its senseless ..

but what do you mean about the audio connection of the cdrom ?
what benefits should i have with that ?

the msi's connectors for the
	Card: Intel 82801DB-ICH4
	Chip: Realtek ALC650 rev 1
are:
	- internal cdrom/dvd aux (line) in's
	- line in
	- line out
	- mic in / line out
	- S/P-DIF

so i might have to fiddle out how to use a line/aux in as
as S/P-DIF input .. ?!?!

what a pitty .. may be this can be fixed with a driver patch ?

hmm ..

anybody out there, who knows about a possible mp2 decoder patent conflict ?

cheers, sven
