I just testet out the utilitys coming with the driver.
I'am able to capture an mpeg with the following settings :

./test_ioctl -u 0xff
./test_ioctl -p 4 (why only on 4 ???)
./test_ioctl -f width=720,height=576
cat /dev/video0 > first_capture.mpg

The picture is quite good .. But the sound is only a loud noise :(

Hi Stefan,

im running the new analogTV plugin with my PVR250 fine. Can you paste me
a line of your analog channels.conf ? I think, that will be the fault.

  i just tried to get the new analogtv-plugin running with my hauppauge
pvr 350.
I did everything like in a.kools README.
The ivtv driver is running on /dev/video0 but my picture is still black.

vdr says :

for me it looks like analogtv is giving some parameters to the driver
which are not supportet..
