Maybe you could detail your config. Especially what DVB card (model AND 
revision), what CI module (PCI or 3.5") and what CAM (Aston, Magic, 
other?) you use. It could help people on the list to have a better 
understanding of your issue.

Personally, I can't really help you now since I'm still in the process 
of selecting the right components for my vdr box. I'm interested in your 
case since I'm a Canal Satellite subscriber who wants to oust its 
mediaguard official decoder.

Have you seen the document related to the CAM support in VDR ? It is 
available at ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/vdr/Developer/cams.txt. In fact, a few 
DVB/CI/CAM trios are really supported. For instance, if your CI is 3.5", 
you can't be sure it works, at least from what's written in this document.

My 2 cents. If you succeed, please tell us.
