The card is a creative labs ct7240:
(CT7235-VBQ (9904 Rev B) + ADV7175AKS(9826))
Under Suse 8.2 "cat /proc/em8300/0" produced:
I just wanted to say, that I never ever got my DXR3 to work under SUSE
8.2 standard kernel.
It worked fine with SUSE 8.0 and 8.1 and Debian standard kernels.
I only got "the lighter shade of black" that you mentioned. As other
people have a working SUSE 8.2 AND DXR3 I thought I am just stupid...but
maybe there are some cardrevisions that don't like the SUSE 8.2 kernel?
You could try the C'T VDR-Debian Distro...
