Personally I find it very annoying when the name of a project
is changed, like xyz-ng or the like. If the original maintainer
of the DVD plugin doesn't come forward after that many requests
I would suggest that somebody else continues the work, but just
keeps the same project name. Should, at some point, the original
author re-appear, it is still possible to either change the name
of the new project, change that of the old one, or let the original
maintainer resume his/her work. To me a name change immediately
implies a fork, and that's something that should be avoided if
possible. At this time all that's being looked for is a new maintainer
of the DVD plugin - not a new name for that plugin.
