[vdr] Bug or Feature Request : vdr -r script is called several times when PID change
Hallo Klaus,
VDR 1.3.x restarts recordings when PID changes, this means that the vdr
-r script is called more that once. This might be usefull, but it also
means trouble. How can one now if the recording is finished ?
One solution is not calling it on PID restart, so that it only is called
before and after like previously with 1.2.x
Another that the vdr -r program could get a third parameter when called.
This could be a number telling what goes on :
0 = "normal" call
1 = Recording Restart because of PID change
2 = Recording Restarted for other reasons (might be after a crash)
Like this :
nq.sh after /video0/XXX/2004-09-20.12.00.50.99 1
This might break some "-r"-scripts, but I think it is necessary. How can
one else know if this recording is finished or not ?
Greetings
Christian Jacobsen
