[vdr] Re: streamdev-0.3.1 Problem with connecting

I think Gavin wanted to mention the url options. Example : http://vdr:3000/PES/1 if you want to receive the PES of channel 1.
But as said in the doc, you read, if none of theses parameters are provided, the default channel with the default-configured stream type should be used. So you should have received something...
Nevertheless, try to specify stream type and channel because streamdev is always a little bit dispointing...

Here is what I got in my logs when connecting mplayer (prefer mplayer, specially for PES) on http://vdr:3000/PES/1
déc 22 23:20:58 localhost vdr[3299]: Streamdev: Accepted new client (HTTP) 192.168.0.5:2119
déc 22 23:20:59 localhost vdr[4202]: transfer thread started (pid=4202, tid=1523719)
déc 22 23:20:59 localhost vdr[4203]: receiver on device 1 thread started (pid=4203, tid=1540105)
déc 22 23:20:59 localhost vdr[4204]: Streamdev: Live streamer thread started (pid=4204, tid=1556490)
déc 22 23:20:59 localhost vdr[4205]: TS buffer on device 1 thread started (pid=4205, tid=1572875)

Finally, I do not know the state of dev for streamdev on 1.2.6 but streamdev is patchy-friendly when you want it to work...

Alain.

Read the docs :)

You haven't told it what to stream.

I read it. I have following settings:

streamdev-server.AllowSuspend = 0
streamdev-server.HTTPServerPort = 3000
streamdev-server.HTTPStreamType = 2
streamdev-server.MaxClients = 5
streamdev-server.ServerPort = 2004
streamdev-server.StartHTTPServer = 1
streamdev-server.StartServer = 0
streamdev-server.SuspendMode = 0

Is there anything else I need to set?

Howto told it what to stream? I simply want to stream
what is currently going out to the TV.

Any hints?

Thanks,
Andreas
