I'm doing editing of channels.conf with an editor and an awk script
(the latter is to weed out all non-FTA channels - hint at another
often requested feature :-)
Not to say this is a good thing, but it is at least _possible_ that
channels and timers get inconsistent. Yes I know, people who hand-edit
channels.conf should know what they are doing...

What really would help here is to list _all_ broken entries in the log
before exiting, not just the first one. (Try once to fix a
channels.conf with 50 duplicates...)
