Xxv is a deamon to administer youre vdr. It's like the great and famous 
program vdradmin, but more flexibler and faster. Xxv use a very flexible 
plugin system to add new Interfaces and Functions to the main system. At 
this time we have released follow Interfaces:

* HTTPD - a skinnable Webserver
* TELNET - a Telnetserver
* INTERFACE - a Telnetserver for third party products
* WAPD - a wapserver for mobilephones (no working at this time)

Of course the Plugins:

* Autotimer - similar the same function in vdradmin. Parse EPG Data for 
text in title, subtitle and description. With done list and other nice 
Features
* Timer - parse the timers and you can edit, delete and create a timer
* Channels - parse the channels.conf and save the channels in a Database
* Music - create a Icecast Server to play youre music on other machines. 
Also create this a webinterface to managed and search for youre music files.
* Records - parse the records and display these with previewimages, also 
you can call a command form the reccmds.conf with a recordfile as argument.
* Config - a Configurationsystem to change the conig at runtime, also 
you can change, save the config in the interfaces
* Grab - grab the livepicture
* Remote - display in the interfaces a remote kontrol with live image in 
 webinterface
* Status - display the importend system informations from the System
* User - add a Userauthentification to all interfaces
* Vtx - display the videotext pages in all interfaces

We hope you test xxv on youre vdr system and may be discover a bug or 
you write a own plugin.
