HDHomeRun need IPTV plugin?

Has anyone got the HDHomeRun to work with VDR? It's one of the dual ATSC tuners I'm looking into for adding ATSC to my system. I'm thinking maybe with the IPTV plugin it might work? Also wondering how good it's tuning is compaired to tuners using the LG DT3303 which seems to be the bench mark to aim for. The HDHomeRun has been shiped with 2 different tuners according to the admin at their forum: Rev 1.x uses the Oren CAS220 chipset. Rev 2.x uses the latest generation Micronas DRXJ chipset.

dbscan fails

I built a VDR box a year ago; it worked; For some reasons, I changed the motherboard and software. Now dvbscan fails : I suspect the fact that the LNB is not powered. My configuration Fedora 8 x64_86 up to date Hauppauge Nexus dvb-s rev 2.3 There is signal, since the decoder works ok. dvbscan fails, kaffeine too. Thank you for your help

[ANNOUNCE] runvdr extreme 0.3

Hi list, I've updated the runvdr extreme script to version 0.3. The new version adds some distribution-like comfort to plugin management, by managing whole directories of configuration files. A new script, runvdr-conf.d, can be used to manage symbolic links in /etc/runvdr/conf.d/ for different plugins. This allows to manage plugins with enable and disable sub-commands of runvdr-conf.d. To bring this 'to the extreme', the script can make use of the osdserver plugin and allows interactive enabling/disabling of plugins in the VDR OSD. To round things up, the new version also supports the latest VDR command line options, and comes with a sample init.d script for Debian-like distributions. vdr 1.5.16 - minor problem in font.c

Hello, DrawText() in font.c uses the method Glyph() which may return a null pointer, but doesn't check the returned pointer. I came across this bug, when checking a bug report from Sven Mueller: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=467512 When info.vdr contains an invalid character (like in the above example a 0xA0 - a Latin-1 NO-BREAK SPACE), Glyph() returns null, which then causes a segfault when dereferencing the null-pointer. The easiest way to fix this, would probably be to ignore such invalid characters, which is, what the attached two-line-patch will do. the pic2mpg script aceptis only files with lower case caracters. is it posible to support upper case caracters by default? my pictures are named DSCN*.JPG and the script only acepts DSCN*.jpg. stefan
