Hi, attached file: skinenigmang-0.1.0-jlac-corners-090502.diff - change rounds corners to squares corners. attached file: skinenigmang-0.1.0-jlac-logos-090502.diff - replace xpm format by logos in 256colors and jpeg - simplify the logo filenames on disk: at runtine make it lower case, without space, without underscore.... so avoid many times the same logo file (or symbolic link) on the disk - add a svdr command to check the name logos - theme added (grey/white/black) Regards, JLac

BBC HD Problems

Hi, There appears to have been some changes made recently to BBCHD on 28.2E: - BBCHD:BBC:10847:vC56M2O35S0:S28.2E:22000:2328:2330=NAR;2329=eng:2331:0:6940 :2:2050:0 It is now not watchable with a reel eHD card - no audio and stuttering video. The Reel support people are saying this is possibly because they have started using AAC audio which is not supported by VDR. Is anyone else having problems with this and FFMPEG or CoreAVC via xine or is it still fine? Thanks, Morfsta

[patch] optimize device selection

Hi, This patch is for vdr users's which have several cards. He changes the device selection, by adding two factors in the 'impact' choice : - prefering a already tuned device - the last usage time of device So, all devices are used and zapping time is reduce. Works better when eitscanner is disable. Regards, JLac

I have also tested your patch with vdrconvert-0.2.0 but with a few Extensions in vdr2dvd.sh. yaepghd-plugin

hi, I am using yaepghd + vdr-xine 9.2. The small window showing the current channel does not scale the video down, but only shows a small fraction of the normal-sized video window. Any idea on how to make the video scale for the window? I run xine with this command: /usr/local/bin/xine -Dtvtime:method=Greedy2Frame,cheap_mode=0,pulldown=0,use_progressive_frame_flag=1 -L -A alsa -a spdif --no-splash -g -f -V xv vdr://tmp/vdr-xine/stream#demux:mpeg_pes --post vdr_video --post vdr_audio yours, Jouni

Any really working HD video output systems for VDR?

Hi, so far I have tested and looked different solutions for VDR video output and it seems that there is no working solutions just now. Only good solution seems to stay on SD video with vdr 1.6.0 and use old FF card as analog output. List of non-working solutions: Xine and it's variants: problems with stability, problems with FF/FR. Softdevice: huge need of CPU for HD XBMC: not ready for anything Reelbox EHD: hw works, AV signal quality is ok, but dvb susbtile timing not. Also issues with replaying recordings, FF/FR and jump works with loooooooooooooooooooon delay Summary: current VDR seems to be quit unusable for anything due lack of working HD video/audio output. Working video/audio output means these items: -Video is played with original resolution or scaled with good quality -No drobbed/dublicated frames, frame to frame played as it is -Video in digital format (HDMI or DVI) -Audio played as it is and in _sync_ with video. No delays, no lipsync issues etc. -Audio in digital format (SPDIF or HDMI) -AC3 plays also with out issues like lipsync missed by 10 frames -FF/FR works as it should on recordings -It do not crash Any plans on anyone to reach this reasonable reguest level of quality? xine-lib-1.2-vdpau-yaepghd-window

Before last weeks xine-lib-1.2 enhancement for yaepghd's preview window my vdr system worked flawlessly on both hd and non hd live tv channels. Since I upgraded to the most current xine-lib-1.2 patched for yaepghd's preview window I have many live tv playback errors. Xine's gui comes up and is complaining of my settings. What setting must I change in either vdr-xine-9.3 or xine's config to accomodate for the yaepghd's changes? Current xine/config settings different than default settings: video.processing.ffmpeg_choose_speed_over_accuracy:1 video.processing.ffmpeg_pp_quality:0 video.processing.ffmpeg_skip_loop_filter:all video.processing.ffmpeg_thread_count:2 engine.buffers.video_num_buffers:1500 engine.buffers.video_num_frames:30 Thank you!

sparse DVB adapter numbers

Dear vdr fellows. For a reason not to go in details too much here, I would like to make vdr recognise sparse DVB adapter numbers. I have: root@vdr:/dev/dvb# ls -l total 0 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 200 Mar 19 11:59 adapter0/ drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 120 Mar 19 11:59 adapter1/ drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 120 Mar 19 11:59 adapter5/ drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 120 Mar 19 11:59 adapter6/ drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 120 Mar 19 11:59 adapter7/ root@vdr:/dev/dvb# But vdr uses only the first two devices. Is there any easy possibility to patch the code accordingly? Thank you.

xine-vdr and nvidia driver

Hi, I am using vdr 1.7.8 with xine and vdpau If I update the nvidia driver, do I need to recompile vdr, xine-lib or the vdr-xine plugin?
