A DVBstream client

Dave Chapman writes:

I have just uploaded the first version of "rtptsaudio". This is an audio-only client for dvbstream and is the start of a project to make a reliable (i.e. error-detecting and correcting) client for dvbstream.

It is available at http://www.linuxstb.org.

The program extracts the mpeg audio stream from the transport stream broadcast by dvbstream and then pipes it to an external program (e.g. madplay or mpg123) to actually play the sound. The next stage of development iis to incorporate the mpeg audio decoder into rtptsaudio.

It includes a lot of code from Marcus Metzler's mpegtools - thanks go to him and Convergence for making it available under the GPL.

Thanks, David!
