Ah!  On July 15th, we removed all of the dvb frontend code from 
video4linux cvs.  Since then, I've created tree-merging scripts that 
allow you to download the latest copy of both cvs trees, and build 
complete drivers from the merged tree.

MT352 is among the drivers that have been removed from video4linux cvs. 
  I take it that you have not yet tried the tree-merging scripts on the 
latest cvs.  Please try the method outlined in this howto:


This should fix the problem for you.  If so, please change your 
gentoo-wiki-entry to reflect this method.
