Well, out of 235 timers just 2 had this problem. This is a correct one:
1:S19.2E-1-1073-28206:2006-04-25:0655:0735:50:50:nano~Die Welt von morgen:* Zwischen Traum und Horrorvision|* Wurzelsperren und Freiraum gegen Sch<E4>den am Asphalt#~AT
BTW the 2 defect timers had text from other EPG events. But I never
set timers on those other events. Since I cannot reproduce this, maybe the
problem is somewhere else like a defekt filesystem...

Is "nano..." the description field? So xxv 0.70 will not transmit this description?
I guess that should resolve the problem.

vdr 1.3.46, xxv 0.60. Are they incompatible?

great! Will there be debian packages on e-tobi?
