The installation of a basic system should hopefully be no problem with
Tips
- It is not necessary to setup a stage 1 system, stage 3 is enough
- genkernel has it's problems, better to manually configure and compile the kernel
- For kernel 2.4: emerge gs-sources
- For kernel 2.6: emerge gentoo-dev-sources
- The bin-packages are not functioning
