Suspicions on whether it uses an Xceive XC3028 date back to 2007. A [http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2007-October/021400.html post] was made on the linux-dvb mailing list. The [[ATI/AMD_TV_Wonder_HD_600_USB|TV Wonder HD 600 USB]] uses an XC3028LCQ chip.
