AVerMedia M792 PCIe Combo (OEM)

A low-profile NTSC/ATSC PCIe card from AVerMedia.

It is currently not supported under Linux.

Overview/Features

The AVerMedia PCIe Combo (OEM) is probly related to the AVerMedia M791 except in a few components. The M792 can be found in HP Pavilion Slimline desktop PCs. HP does not list the AverMedia model number on its product specification page, but you can find the Windows driver for M792 in the download page for s3400t.

Components Used

  • LG LGDT3304 (8VSB/QAM demodulator)
  • Conexant CX23887-14Z (A/V Decoder & PCIe bridge)
  • Conexant CX23417-11Z (MPEG-2 A/V Encoder)
  • EtronTech EM638325TS-6G (SDRAM)
  • NXP TDA8295 (analog TV demodulator)
