Pinnacle Systems Inc, founded in Mountain View, California, in 1986, is a designer and manufacturer of PC based analog and digital video capture devices.

Pinnalce largely concentrated on video post-production products and tools up until 1997, but would expand their product capabilities afterwards through purchase of video capture technology specialist miro Digital Video Products.

Notable Pinnacle video capture products include the Dazzle and PCTV product lines. The origin of the PCTV name itself can be traced back to a single device from miro; the miroMEDIA PCTV.

Pinnalce itself was acquired, in August 2005, by Avid Technology, Inc, under whose ownership it continues to operate as a standalone division.
