DVB-T2 stands for Digital Video Broadcasting Second Generation Terrestrial.

General

DVB-T2 is a newer specification of the DVB-T standard with better performance. DVB-T2 can be used for transmission of HDTV content.

It was developed by the DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) project in 2006.
