The Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) Project is a large consortium (constituted by ~270 members from the broadcast, equipment manufacturers, semiconductor network operators, software developers, regulatory bodies and other industries) that is committed to the development of open technical standards for global digital television and data services. Specifically, the DVB Project maintains the internationally widely adopted suite of DVB Standards.
