KNC1 TV-Star DVB-S

A DVB-S PCI card produced by KNC1 based on the Philips SAA7146. This card is also sold under the Mystique SaTiX-SX brand.

There are at least two revisions of this card. Revision X4 (Subsystem ID 1894:0014) is supported. Revision X8 (1894:0054) is not supported. The TV-Star is a lean version of the KNC1 TV-Station DVB-S with a CI connector, and the KNC1 TV-Station DVB-S Plus with a CI connector and analog video input.

Making it Work

Revision X4 is supported by the budget-av driver in the kernel. To compile this driver select Device Drivers > Multimedia support > Media PCI Adapters > SAA7146 DVB cards and Budget Cards in the kernel configuration menu.
