on my ubuntu 10.04 lts 32-32-generic it works quite fine: that is remote control can change channel in kaffeine only by pressing number buttons, which means that the ch+ and ch- ones doesn't work; other buttonts that doesn't work on kaffeine are epg, record button, subtitles, info, the dpad buttons. i haven't yet tried to tune channel beacuse I broke the adapter-cable. regarding analog input with vlc and setting as input device the video part of the hybrid t xs usb seems to work.
