A DVB-C PCI card by TwinHan.

It is either well supported under Linux [1] or only partially supported with strong artifacts in the picture [2]. As this edit is fairly old, perhaps it works now?

The underlying hardware is a Conexant Fusion 878A chip.

This card supports DVB-C reception, all QAMs including QAM256, but (free) HDTV channels can't be recieved (tested in the German KabelBW net which uses H.264 for HDTV content, so maybe it's due to this non-MPEG2 standard and otherwise MPEG2-HDTV content could be received).

It comes up in lspci as

0000:00:0a.0 Multimedia video controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Video Capture (rev 11)
0000:00:0a.1 Multimedia controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Audio Capture (rev 11)

Installation

Not too difficult with a newer 2.6 kernel -- see the article Conexant Fusion 878A for a howto.
